Bernhard Kunkler
Bernhard Kunkler lives in Freiburg and works as a freelance illustrator for advertising, magazine and book publishers.
"I regard my voyage of exploration (work) through the world of seeing, hearing and feeling as an exiting, never ending process of learning and developing in the course of where I am continuously redefining my realisation and imagination."
He is especially interested in the variety of expression given by the technique of collage. "To work with collage means playing, experimenting, story telling, solving complex tasks."
Over the years Bernhard Kunkler’s work has been honoured with many different awards. For the illustration of the annual reports 2006 and 2007 for Marquard & Bahls he received from the ARC (Annual Report Competition worldwide) New York twice Gold, the Grand Award and the Award ‘Best of show’.
