Volker Straeter
Volker Straeter was born in Duesseldorf in 1963. He moved to Cork, Ireland, to obtain a dgree in Fine Arts in 1983. Volker postgraduated in Illustration at St. Martins School of Art in London, where he lived and worked for almost 20 years. In the late 90's Volker founded bdm design in collaboration with the Spanish Industrial Designer Beatriz Matud. The studio specialised in the design and development of contemporary Illustration, Graphics and Furniture and is now based in Valencia, Spain.
