Ward Schumaker
Ward Schumaker is a San Francisco-based illustrator whose work has appeared in over 100 magazines worldwide, as well as annual reports and advertising.
He has won awards from the New York Art Directors Club, Print Magazine, and Communication Arts.
He is author/illustrator of children's books: Dance, In My Garden, and Sing a Song of Circus; as well as limited edition, letterpress versions of Gertrude Stein and MFK Fisher.
His studio is filled with Bach, Beethoven, Berlioz, Bartok...and Schumaker (Matt Schumaker: his son the composer).
