The first title 'Islam' of the planned children's book series 'Paul und die Weltreligionen' ('Paul and the World religions') has been published by Prestel Verlag, Munich, in 2008. Based on Anja Nolte’s idea for this series, the concept developed in cooperation with Karin Schmidl (Gouvernmental museums Berlin). Anja Nolte’s main focus within this project has been on creating the illustrations, the character designs and a comic strip about prophet Mohammed’s life but she is also responsible for the corporate identity of the series, the graphic design, the picture editing as well as for the pre-press work.
Der Titel 'Islam' erschien 2008 als erster in der Kinderbuchreihe 'Paul und die Weltreligionen', herausgegeben vom Prestel-Verlag München. Auf Basis von ihrer Idee für diese Serie, entwickelte Anja Nolte das Konzept in Zusammenarbeit mit Karin Schmidl (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin).
Ihr Hauptfokus in diesem Projekt lag auf der Realisierung der Illustrationen, der Figurenentwicklung und des Comics über das Leben des Propheten Mohammed, aber sie zeichnet auch verantwortlich für die CI der Serie, das Grafikdesign, die Bildbearbeitung sowie für die Bucherstellung bis hin zur Druckvorstufe.
