Bernhard Kunkler received again this fall GOLD and the GRAND AWARD at the ARC Award (the worldwide most important competition for annual reports) in New York. The price was given for the illustrations he created for the annual report 2008 of Marquard & Bahls. The topic: 'Emotions'.
The designers (Cornelia Horn and Karin Warzecha) were awarded with Gold as well. The annual report also received HONORS for Overall Report.
A special price was given also from the German competition 'private public' where the report was described as '..in an exemplary fashion courageous and unusual... a brilliant example for how it is worthwhile to leave usual paths...'
Bernhard Kunklers Illustrationen für den Geschäftsbericht 2008 der Firma Marquard & Bahls wurden auch in diesem Herbst wieder beim ARC Award, New York – dem weltweit größten Wettbewerb für Geschäftsberichte – mit GOLD und dem GRAND AWARD ausgezeichnet. Das Thema des Geschäftsberichts: 'Emotionen'.
Darüber hinaus gab es noch Gold für das Design (Cornelia Horn und Karin Warzecha) sowie HONORS für Overall Annual Report.
Einen Sonderpreis für 'beste Gestaltung' erhielt der Geschäftsbericht in Deutschland beim 'private public' Wettbewerb, wo er als 'beispielhaft mutig und ungewohnt' und als '...ein leuchtendes Beispiel dafür, dass es sich lohnen kann, gewohnte Pfade zu verlassen' beschrieben wurde.
