Rudi Hurzlmeier, Cartoonist, painter and author is a permanent collaborator of the satire magazine Titanic and draws online for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit and Spiegel online. He has published over forty books, including illustrations for Truman Capote, Robert Gernhardt, Thomas Gsella, Wiglaf Droste, Elke Heidenreich, Peter Hacks and Hans Zimpert. Seven volumes were created in cooperation with Harry Rowohlt. Rudi Hurzlmeier was awarded the Sondermann Prize for Comic Art and twice with the German Caricature Prize. His pictures were shown in more than 100 solo and theme exhibitions in Germany and abroad.
